الواسع

Al-Wasi'

The All-Encompassing

Meaning

Al-Wasi' is the One whose capacity, mercy, knowledge, and generosity encompass all things without limit. His mercy is vast enough to cover every sin, His knowledge wide enough to encompass every detail, His provision abundant enough to sustain every creature. Nothing is too vast for Him and no request is too great. His generosity never runs out, His patience never expires, and His ability never reaches a limit. When you feel that your problems are too big, remember Al-Wasi' whose capacity is infinitely larger. When you feel your sins are too many, remember Al-Wasi' whose mercy encompasses all things. He is vast beyond measure, limitless beyond imagination.

In the Quran

Surah Al-Baqarah (2:115): "And to Allah belongs the east and the west. So wherever you turn, there is the Face of Allah. Indeed, Allah is All-Encompassing (Wasi') and Knowing."

Daily Reflection

Have you been limiting Allah in your mind — thinking your problem is too big for Him or your sin is too great for His mercy? Al-Wasi' has no limits.

Today's Action

Expand your perspective today. Instead of focusing on one narrow worry, look at the vast sky and remember that Al-Wasi's capacity is infinitely greater. Share something from your abundance.

Dhikr

يا واسع (Ya Wasi')

Say it 100 times, contemplating the vastness of Allah's mercy and capacity.

Dua

اللهم يا واسع وسّع لنا في أرزاقنا وقلوبنا وأعمالنا

O Allah, the All-Encompassing, expand for us our provision, our hearts, and our deeds.
