Al-Aziz
The Almighty
Meaning
Al-Aziz is the One who possesses all power and honor, whom none can overcome or resist. His might is absolute and unmatched. He is invincible in His strength, yet He combines this power with wisdom and mercy. The scholars explain that Al-Aziz has three dimensions: the might of strength that cannot be overcome, the might of superiority that cannot be challenged, and the might of uniqueness that has no equal. When you feel weak or powerless, remember that you worship Al-Aziz — the One whose honor never diminishes and whose power never fails. He can elevate the humblest servant and humble the mightiest tyrant.
In the Quran
Surah Aal-Imran (3:6): "He it is who shapes you in the wombs however He wills. There is no deity except Him, the Exalted in Might, the Wise."
Daily Reflection
When have you felt powerless? Know that Al-Aziz can grant you strength you never imagined. True honor comes from Him alone, not from people's approval.
Today's Action
Stand firm on a principle today even when it is difficult. Draw strength from Al-Aziz to do what is right rather than what is easy.

O Allah, the Almighty, honor me through Your obedience and do not humiliate me through Your disobedience.
