المذل
Al-Mudhill
The Humiliator
Meaning
Al-Mudhill is the One who humiliates and disgraces those who transgress, oppress, and rebel against His order. This name is understood alongside Al-Mu'izz — together they show that all honor and humiliation are in Allah's hands alone. History testifies to this name: Pharaoh was drowned, Qarun was swallowed by the earth, Abu Lahab was disgraced. Every empire built on oppression has crumbled. This name is a warning to those in power who abuse it, and a comfort to the oppressed who feel helpless. It teaches us that the ultimate court of justice belongs to Allah, and no one escapes His judgment, whether in this life or the next.
In the Quran
Surah Aal-Imran (3:26): "You honor whom You will and You humble whom You will. In Your hand is all good. Indeed, You are over all things competent."
Daily Reflection

Today's Action
