Al-Malik
The King
Meaning
Al-Malik is the absolute King and Sovereign over everything that exists. Unlike human kings whose power is limited and temporary, Allah's sovereignty is complete, perfect, and eternal. He owns everything, controls everything, and His decree cannot be overridden. No parliament can challenge His law, no army can resist His will. Understanding this name brings deep peace — if the King of all kings is your Lord, what can any worldly power do to harm you? Every government, every empire, every authority operates only by His permission and within His dominion.
In the Quran
Surah Al-Hashr (59:23): "He is Allah, other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Perfection, the Granter of Security."

What are you worried about right now? Remember that the One who controls the entire universe is the same One you pray to. Is anything beyond His power?
Today's Action
Let go of one thing you have been trying to control. Surrender it to Al-Malik and trust in His plan.
Dhikr
يا مالك الملك (Ya Malikal-Mulk)
Say it 100 times, surrendering your affairs to the true King.
Dua
اللهم مالك الملك تؤتي الملك من تشاء وتنزع الملك ممن تشاء
O Allah, Owner of sovereignty, You give sovereignty to whom You will and take it away from whom You will.
