Al-Jami'
The Gatherer
Meaning
Al-Jami' is the One who gathers all things — He gathers all creation for the Day of Judgment, gathers scattered hearts in unity, gathers knowledge of all things, and gathers all perfections in Himself. He will gather every soul that ever existed for the final reckoning — not a single one will be missing. He gathers people in love, gathers communities in worship, and gathers dispersed blessings for those He chooses. On the Day of Judgment, Al-Jami' will gather the first and the last, humans and jinn, believers and disbelievers — all in one place for the ultimate reckoning. No one can hide, no one can escape, and no one will be overlooked.
In the Quran
Surah Aal-Imran (3:9): "Our Lord, surely You will gather the people for a Day about which there is no doubt. Indeed, Allah does not fail in His promise."
Daily Reflection
On the Day when Al-Jami' gathers all of humanity, what state will you be in? Gathered among the righteous or among the heedless? Now is the time to choose your group.
Today's Action
Gather people for good today. Organize a family gathering for prayer, bring friends together for dhikr, or unite people around a common good cause. Be a gatherer of good.

Say it 100 times, asking Allah to gather you among the righteous.

اللهم يا جامع اجمعنا مع النبيين والصديقين والشهداء والصالحين
O Allah, the Gatherer, gather us with the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous.
