An-Nafi'
The Propitious
Meaning
An-Nafi' is the One who creates all benefit and advantage. Every good thing you experience — health, wealth, knowledge, love, success — comes from An-Nafi'. No medicine heals except by His permission, no business profits except by His will, and no relationship thrives except by His decree. He is the source of all benefit, and recognizing this prevents us from becoming arrogant when things go well. The successful person is not self-made — they are An-Nafi'-made. This understanding also directs our prayers: instead of asking people for help, we ask An-Nafi' to make the people and means beneficial for us. The benefit is always from Him; the people are merely the vehicles through which it arrives.
In the Quran
Surah Al-A'raf (7:188): "Say: I hold not for myself benefit or harm, except what Allah has willed."
Daily Reflection
When good things happen, do you credit yourself or An-Nafi'? Your success, your health, your relationships — all are benefits from Him. Are you grateful?
Today's Action
Be a source of benefit to others today. Share useful knowledge, help someone solve a problem, or provide a practical service. Be a vehicle through which An-Nafi' benefits His creation.

يا نافع (Ya Nafi')
Say it 100 times, asking Allah to make you a source of benefit.
Dua
اللهم يا نافع انفعنا بما علمتنا وعلمنا ما ينفعنا
O Allah, the Propitious, benefit us with what You have taught us and teach us what will benefit us.
