الهادي

Al-Hadi

The Guide

Meaning

Al-Hadi is the One who guides all of creation to what they need. He guides the baby to its mother's breast, the bee to the flower, the bird on its migration path, and the human heart to its Lord. His guidance operates on multiple levels: He guides all creation instinctively (general guidance), He sent scriptures and prophets (legislative guidance), He opens individual hearts to faith (specific guidance), and He will guide the believers to Paradise on the Day of Judgment (eternal guidance). The most precious gift you have received from Al-Hadi is the gift of Islam — being guided to recognize Him, worship Him, and follow His path. Billions have lived and died without this gift. Why were you chosen?

In the Quran

Surah Al-Hajj (22:54): "And indeed, Allah is the Guide (Al-Hadi) of those who have believed to a straight path."

Daily Reflection

Of all the billions of people on earth, Al-Hadi guided you to Islam, to prayer, to this very moment of reflection. Why you? What will you do with this gift?

Today's Action

Guide someone today. Share the beauty of Islam with a non-Muslim, help a Muslim reconnect with their faith, or teach a child something about their religion. Pass on Al-Hadi's gift.

Dhikr

يا هادي (Ya Hadi)

Say it 100 times, asking Allah to keep you guided on the straight path.

Dua

اللهم يا هادي اهدنا الصراط المستقيم ولا تضلنا بعد إذ هديتنا

O Allah, the Guide, guide us to the straight path and do not let us go astray after You have guided us.
